I want to start taking piano lesson’s is this a good piano for a beginner and for a person who lives in an apartment?

Off hand I would say no. I would check your local music stores for a good used piano or if they can recommend a good one to buy. If you seriously want to play then you need just a piano, not one with all the whistles and gadgets. Just a plain 88 key piano.

Actually for 500 USD it is not bad. If you do not find something that is good and much cheaper, go for it.
